Celebration of 150 Years of the Mahatma, the Centre for Gandhi and Peace Studies, School of Social Sciences, IGNOU is organising a series of activities in the forthcoming weeks as per the schedule given below:
1. 30th Sept. 30, 2020, 12 pm to 2:15 pm: National Webinar on “Gandhian Perspectives”, speaker Prof Arun Diwaker Nath Bajpai, former Vice Chancellor HPU. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor IGNOU, Prof. Nageshwar Rao will chair the webinar. Following is the link to participate:
2. 2nd October, 2020 at 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Online Painting Competition for the children of IGNOU Staff members on the theme, “Our Bapu, Our India and Our Ideal” (Hindi and English both).
3. 2nd October, 2020 at 2:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m: Online Poetry Competition for IGNOU staff members and registered Students of IGNOU on “Our Bapu, Our Country, Our Ideals” (Hindi and English both). Competitors can register themselves to participate in this competition using the following link: https://forms.gle/RQDHf8Kw6ahzFbV46
A committee would judge paintings and poems for First, Second & Third prizes worth Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 respectively from the competitors for each of these competitions.
