IGNOU On-Campus Recruitment Drive on 27 January 2026

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), through its Campus Placement Cell (CPC), will organise an on-campus mega placement drive on 27 January, 2026 at the B. R. Ambedkar Convention Centre, IGNOU Campus, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi, commencing at 10:00 AM. The placement drive is exclusively open to IGNOU students and alumni and aims to provide diverse employment opportunities across the hospitality, business development, travel, and aviation sectors, reinforcing IGNOU’s commitment to enhancing learner employability and industry readiness.
Leading organisations participating in the drive include YS Hospitality, Pracxis Communications, and Bird Flight Services, offering a wide range of roles such as Backend Office Support Staff, Office Administration / Graphic Designer, Sales and Operations (Travel), Business Development Executive, Customer Service Agent (CSA), and Customer Service Host (CSH). Opportunities are open to freshers as well as experienced candidates, with eligibility criteria ranging from minimum 10+2 qualifications to graduates and MBA (Marketing) students, depending on the role. The positions offered by the recruiters also guarantee competitive salary packages as per industry and company norms.
IGNOU’s Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Uma Kanjilal said that “The placement drive underscores IGNOU’s strong industry interface and its role in facilitating meaningful career pathways for learners through structured campus placement initiatives”. “Witnessing the success of two earlier placement drives, we have now invited recruiters to our university campus for a higher footfall”, she adds. Candidates are advised to register in advance through the QR codes provided in the placement notices under announcements tab on university’s official website. Candidates should report formally dressed with two updated CVs, two recent passport size photographs, IGNOU identity card, government-issued ID, relevant educational and experience documents. Through this initiative, IGNOU reinforces its learner-centric role by connecting academic learning with real-world employment through its national reach and industry partnerships.

इंदिरा गांधी राष्ट्रीय मुक्त विश्वविद्यालय (इग्नू), अपने कैंपस प्लेसमेंट सेल (CPC) के माध्यम से, 27 जनवरी, 2026 को बी. आर. अंबेडकर कन्वेंशन सेंटर, इग्नू कैंपस, मैदान गढ़ी, नई दिल्ली में सुबह 10:00 बजे से एक मेगा प्लेसमेंट ड्राइव का आयोजन करेगा। यह प्लेसमेंट ड्राइव विशेष रूप से इग्नू के छात्रों और पूर्व छात्रों के लिए है और इसका उद्देश्य हॉस्पिटैलिटी, बिजनेस डेवलपमेंट, ट्रैवल और एविएशन सेक्टर में रोजगार के विविध अवसर प्रदान करना है, जो सीखने वालों की रोजगार क्षमता और उद्योग के लिए तैयारी को बढ़ाने के लिए इग्नू की प्रतिबद्धता को मजबूत करता है।
इस ड्राइव में भाग लेने वाले प्रमुख संगठनों में YS हॉस्पिटैलिटी, Pracxis कम्युनिकेशंस और बर्ड फ्लाइट सर्विसेज शामिल हैं, जो बैकएंड ऑफिस सपोर्ट स्टाफ, ऑफिस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन / ग्राफिक डिजाइनर, सेल्स एंड ऑपरेशंस (ट्रैवल), बिजनेस डेवलपमेंट एग्जीक्यूटिव, कस्टमर सर्विस एजेंट (CSA), और कस्टमर सर्विस होस्ट (CSH) जैसे कई तरह के पद दे रहे हैं। ये अवसर फ्रेशर्स के साथ-साथ अनुभवी उम्मीदवारों के लिए भी खुले हैं, जिसमें योग्यता मानदंड न्यूनतम 10+2 योग्यता से लेकर ग्रेजुएट और MBA (मार्केटिंग) छात्रों तक हैं, जो पद पर निर्भर करता है। रिक्रूटर द्वारा दिए गए पदों पर उद्योग और कंपनी के मानदंडों के अनुसार प्रतिस्पर्धी वेतन पैकेज की भी गारंटी है।
इग्नू की माननीय कुलपति प्रो. उमा कांजिलाल ने कहा कि “यह प्लेसमेंट ड्राइव इग्नू के मजबूत उद्योग इंटरफेस और संरचित कैंपस प्लेसमेंट पहलों के माध्यम से सीखने वालों के लिए सार्थक करियर मार्ग को सुविधाजनक बनाने में इसकी भूमिका को रेखांकित करता है”। “दो पहले के प्लेसमेंट ड्राइव की सफलता को देखते हुए, हमने अब अधिक लोगों की भागीदारी के लिए रिक्रूटर को अपने विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में आमंत्रित किया है”, वह आगे कहती हैं। उम्मीदवारों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे विश्वविद्यालय की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर घोषणाओं टैब के तहत प्लेसमेंट नोटिस में दिए गए QR कोड के माध्यम से पहले से पंजीकरण करें। उम्मीदवारों को औपचारिक पोशाक में दो अपडेटेड CV, दो हालिया पासपोर्ट आकार के फोटो, इग्नू पहचान पत्र, सरकार द्वारा जारी आईडी, संबंधित शैक्षिक और अनुभव दस्तावेजों के साथ रिपोर्ट करना चाहिए। इस पहल के माध्यम से, इग्नू अपनी राष्ट्रीय पहुंच और उद्योग साझेदारी के माध्यम से शैक्षणिक शिक्षा को वास्तविक दुनिया के रोजगार से जोड़कर अपनी शिक्षार्थी-केंद्रित भूमिका को मजबूत करता है।
